One of America’s most thought-provoking, multi-faceted, and compelling artists, pianist Jeremy Denk is a 2013 MacArthur Fellow, was named Musical America’s 2014 Instrumentalist of the Year and is the recipient of the 2014 Avery Fisher Prize for musicianship and contributions to the musical world. Hailed as the "humorist-intellectual of the classical-music world," Denk exceeds all expectations of a brilliant 21st century musician with his compelling and intense style.

Audience members are invited to a conversation with Jeremy Denk moderated by Nadine Shank, UMass Professor of Music at 5 p.m. in the Room 811, UMass Campus Center.
