Now on view at the UMassFive College Federal Credit Union’s branch office in Hadley are paintings by Chris Page, who has been exploring the intersection of nature and painterly abstraction throughout his artistic career. In 2013, Page expanded his work beyond the studio to include a walking practice focused on witnessing the unfolding daytime sky. This resulted in his Sky Series and exhibitions throughout Western Massachusetts. Two paintings from this impressive series are on view at the Credit Union.

UMassFive College Federal Credit Union, 200 Westgate Drive, Hadley

This program is part of a partnership between the University Museum of Contemporary Art (UMCA)at UMass Amherst and the UMassFive College Federal Credit Union, in which the UMCA curates and showcases works of art by local artists and displays them on a rotating basis at the Credit Union’s Hadley and UMass Campus Center branches. The UMassFive College Federal Credit Union has generously underwritten UMCA exhibitions and programming for 2018-2019. We appreciate their support.
