Joe McPhee/Chris Corsano Duo

Saxophonist and trumpeter Joe McPhee is a 78-year-old icon of creative music, who has been recording and touring since the late 1960s. In 1975, Werner Uehlinger started Hathut Records with the specific intent of showcasing McPhee’s music. Corsano, 42, is a commanding drummer who has toured and recorded with Bjork, Thurston Moore, Evan Parker, and Paul Flaherty. McPhee and Corsano have an extensive history of performing together.
