Moving Image

Open-Air Projection to Invite Conversation
April 16 - May 16

In an exciting after-hours program, digital video works created by students in the art class “Moving Image” were on view on the gallery’s window projections.

Taught by Associate Professor Jenny Vogel, the course teaches students about digital video within the context of contemporary art practices and creating their own digital video projects.

Students had the opportunity to share those projects with the public at Hampden Gallery as part of its Open-Air Projection to Invite Conversation (OPTIC) after-hours program, which provides the public with a chance to engage with art in a safe, outdoor setting.
