The Avery Joi Quartet is a group of four world class musicians who have a classically new sound and understanding for the music. They specialize in genres such as Jazz, Neo Soul, Funk, R&B, and More! They have all come from the Western MA area and have performed in a variety of locations like NYC, NJ, CT, MA, and many more.

Born and raised in Western Massachusetts, Avery Joi is a young Vocalist who specializes in genres such as Jazz, neo soul, funk, r&b, and more. She started with jazz and joined many different combos and big band ensembles starting at Westfield High School moving on to study Jazz vocal performance at both The New School and William Paterson University. During her time in both NYC and NJ she had several opportunities to play various jazz gigs in the area while studying with world class musicians as well. She's learned a lot about jazz music and culture from her teachers Amy London and Johnny O'neal. Since then she has branched out into these other genres and created several of her own musical groups varying from the NYC area back home to Western MA. One of her newest groups consisting of world class musicians, including Andrew Wilcox (piano) from Worcester MA, Jahian Cooper Monize (drums) from Manhattan NY who also attended William Paterson University and is in a number of Avery Joi's groups. Also George Kaye (bass) who played with several of the jazz greats including vocalist Etta Jones! This will be a great show you won't want to miss, full of music from the American songbook, but also some of Avery's original tunes!

Take a listen to Avery Joi!
