Brick + Mortar International Video Art Festival

The 2nd annual Brick + Mortar International Video Art Festival presents cutting edge video art work from around the world in historic buildings undergoing renovation in downtown Greenfield. The Greenfield Business Association will have a tent on the Greenfield Common (Court Square) with maps, schedules, listings of participating restaurants, and information.
Festival partners include the Greenfield Business Association, Fostering the Arts and Culture Project, Greenfield Community College, the University Museum of Contemporary Art, Fine Arts Center, Umass Amherst and Conjunction Arts with the support of Greenfield building-owners, local businesses and the Mayor's office.
Installation sites include: The Mix & Match Building, 30 Olive Street; Studio Junction, 56 Bank Row; The National Bank Building, 9 Band Row; the Pushkin Building, 332 Main Street; and the Arts Block, 289 Main Street, among others.
The festival is curated this year by Loretta Yarlow, director of the University Museum of Contemporary Art, Fine Arts Center, Umass Amherst. Works by internation and local artists are integrated with a selection from Project 35, produced by Independent Curators International (ICI), New York, made possible, in part, by grants from the Cowles Charitable Trust, the Horace W. Goldsmith Foundation, The Robert Sterling Clark Foundation, and The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts; the ICI Board of Trustees; contributors to the ICI Access Fund; and ICI Benefactors Barbara and John Robinson.
