The Samoan and Maori cultures meet modern dance in the potent, hyperkinetic Black Grace Dance Company. Under director-choreographer Neil Ieremia, Black Grace blends stomping, Samoan slap dancing, stunningly beautiful group singing, and modern choreography of a high order. Black Grace Dance Company, which wowed Jacobs Pillow audiences several years ago, comes to the Fine Arts Center Concert Hall for a dynamic, exhilarating, raw, and authentic dance journey.
