Concert Hall 7:30 pm$40, $30, $15; 17 and under $15, Five College Students $15, $10, $7
Enjoy this traditional holiday classic in an entirely new way -- on ice! The familiar music by Tchaikovsky, the beautiful costumes, and the elegant dancers are all a part of this magical production. The main difference is that the choreography by Konstantin Rassadin will be performed by ice skating dancers on the stage of the Fine Arts Center. On blades, The Nutcracker becomes effervescent, irrepressible. The cast's credentials, combined with a story that takes place in the winter wonderland, make St. Petersburg's production magical. What better way to see snowflakes dance than on ice?
