Free, registration required
Please join a casual conversation with playwright and MacArthur Fellow Larissa FastHorse and Michael John Garcés, artistic director of Cornerstone Theater Company, as they discuss their work and process. All are welcome to join this conversation, and Native and Indigenous voices are particularly welcomed to share space here, to bring questions and to connect.

FastHorse and Garcés will be in residence with the UMass Amherst Fine Arts Center from October 1 - 10, co-sponsored by a consortium of UMass campus organizations for this ten day community engagement residency. The purpose of this residency is to listen, gather stories, and learn about the Native and non-Native community and context around the UMass campus. These community engagement moments include this public talk on October 4 and the ASA Panel on October 6 as part of the FAC's annual Art Sustainability Activism series.

This conversation is co-hosted by the UMass World Studies Interdisciplinary Project with support from the UMass Native American Advisory Council.
