A multimedia theatrical performance about the impact of September 11 and the War on Terror in the lives of New England minority communities created by artist Marty Pottenger in partnership with Portland's Center for Cultural Exchange. Through in-depth interviews and story circles with members of Maine's immigrant and refugee communities, Ms. Pottenger creates dialogue and action for this evening-length performance revealing connections among the participants in relation to each other and the context of their changed lives following the events of September 11, 2001, and the subsequent enforcement of the provisions of the PATRIOT act. The piece will be enacted by community-based participants from Portland's Afghan, Sudanese, Somali, Latino, Jewish and Franco-American communities.
