Home Drone
Heather Layton and Brian Bailey

MAR 1 - MAR 26, 2012 |
Opening Reception: Friday March 1, 3-5PM
2-3pm Gallery Talk with Heather Layton and Brian Bailey: How to Pronounce Hello: Intervention as a Form of Cultural Diplomacy
Home Drone is a two-part map and multimedia exhibition that questions the morality of U.S. drone strikes in northern Pakistan and the domestic media portrayals of Pakistani people. The first phase of the exhibition is a public intervention project where the artists will superimpose a map of the drone strike region over a map of Massachusetts. Their experience of visiting each site will be integrated into the gallery installation.
