The Lark Quartet, now in its twentieth concert season, enjoys a reputation as an ensemble of the highest artistic integrity and versatility. In the years since the quartet's prestigious international competition victories, the 1990 Naumburg Chamber Music Award and Russia's Shostakovich Competition Gold Medal in 1991, among them, the musicians of the Lark have created a dynamic ensemble portfolio which includes concert tours of America's great musical centers and abroad. For their Center Series encore performance they will perform a program titled America Landscape, featuring Spiritual Fantasy #12 by our Emeritis, Fred Tillis. The program will also include works by Bolcom, Gershwin, and Ellington.
