Hampden Gallery Incubator Project SpaceLast year in an independent study with professor Jeanette Cole of the UMASS Art Department, she began experimenting with household goods as media. She used melted plastic packaging, dryer sheets, shells, and wax and then incorporated traditional painting techniques. Jeanette Cole is the curator of the Domestic Territories exhibition. Mulcahy teaches K-8 at Donahue School in Holyoke, MA. She holds a B.A. in Art from Westfield State College and a M.Ed. from UMASS Amherst.
