The longest continually-running jazz festival in the world, the Monterey Jazz Festival celebrates its 50th anniversary with a national tour. Maintaining Monterey's tradition of presenting the titans alongside rising stars, this performance features Terence Blanchard (trumpet), James Moody (saxophone), Benny Green (piano), Nnenna Freelon (special guest vocalist), Derrick Hodge (bass) and Kendrick Scott (drums). This musical celebration is a stirring tribute to the monumental Monterey Jazz Festival.
Please join us for a pre-performance tour of the exhibition currently on view at the University Museum of Contemporary Art.
Sponsored by Fathers & Sons, 88.5 WFCR, The Daily Hampshire Gazette and The Davis Group
