Other Ways of Seeing
An exhibition of outsider art
Wednesday, September 19 - Sunday, September 30, 2001
Hampden GalleryFree
Facilitated by UMass Professor Jeanine Young Mason and by Parisian artist Christine Boiral, Other Ways of Seeing features the work of Paris-based artists who defy catagorization. All five artists have severe developmental delays; some do not have the ability to speak. Their art is a significant means of communicating with the world and has been featured in many international exhibitions.
