Artist’s Statement:
For this show I have put together work that has occurred in a particular space in time. Specifically--a year after some sad markers occurred in life. These are sketches; small works that are dealing with the labor of making Art.
I am physically making moves and seeing what emerges from my actions.  As I allow the structure, of what I am making, to emerge I feel more in the moment and focused on the next move without being aware of an outcome.
Some works represented are from outside the studio.
These are long walks in New York City. This represents the labor of Looking and Thinking.
