Second Generation Ego
Diana Shpungin & Nicole Engelmann

Thursday, September 16 - Thursday, October 14, 2004
Central Gallery, Wheeler HouseFree
The artists will visit to host a gallery talk on September 16th at 4.p.m. in conjunction with the exhibition. The exhibition features Attempt #1 (Jump) 2004 and Switch 2002. Switch is a dual channel video projection. Each image frames the back of a white leather love seat and appears as a mirrored reflection of the other. The two women switch roles, each acting as both aggresor and victim in a game of "my turn, your turn". The action is ambiguous, tense, and humorous.
