Bob Weiner
An evening of music, poetry, and sharing from the heart entitled, Pivotal Moments by drummer Bob Weiner
October 13, 7pm
Augusta Savage Gallery
Bob Weiner’s interest in depth psychology and contemplative practices leads him to consider how these practices apply to the arts and to improvisation. As a drummer and percussionist he has toured and performed with a host of “giants” including Harry Belafonte, Itzhak Perlman, Betty Buckley, Jon Lucien, Dianne Reeves, Andy Statman, Rebecca Paris, Kenny Werner, Bob Moses and many others. He has also taught at the Drummers Collective in New York City, as well as the New England Conservatory and Berklee College of Music in Boston. He holds a Masters’ degree at Lesley University in Inter-Disciplinary Studies.
