Gallery hours are Monday & Tuesday 1-7pm, and Wednesday through Friday 1-5pm while the University is in session.Free Admission
This exhibition of paintings, drawings, and writings by two groups of students from Israel is part of Augusta Savage Gallery's ongoing Young Artist Series, dedicated to featuring visual imagery by children from national and international communities. Through paintings, these students explore ways of bridging understanding, and healing ancestral and cultural wounds between German and Israeli adolescents. The students deal with issues relating to racism, identity, and nationality, leading a way for understanding one another and creating international friendships among the young generation.
